Showbie and Menti

Hi everyone

In this writing I will talk about two different apps that help the both students and teachers. The first one is "Showbie"  and second one is "Menti" like Kahoot. Let me talk about in detail.

Showbie is an application to create and develop  assignments, quizzes, and homework for students and teachers. In this application teacher can give homework, assignment for students who involve this application. Teacher can give essential  feedback with writing or recording voice. Thanks to this students can see their weakness or struggle area and they can improve their work.  Especially in geometry, students can take advantages of it more because students work with a shape so feedback is more important. Teacher can give feedback on shapes with drawing, talking and also writing. For other class, students have a chance to upload their reading task in their home. Therefore , Showbie include combination of essential ways for assignment  and feedback. That is, Showbie is a free mobile application for both teachers and students. It helps to bring teacher and students together and work with them  :)

Menti is an application like Kahoot and it helps you to make quiz in classroom. Thanks to this application you can create your own online quizzes and  do it in classroom like pop quizzes. After you create quizzes, Menti gives you a code to enter the quizzes. It is for students. Students will enter their name with this code and they can see the questions. After students answer the question they can see the result with column chart and they can see who is the first or second  and so on. Like quiz, you can  ask your students to enter the just one word about lesson that the most they remember, then you will see the many words with different size . This mean that, Which word is more repeated, it is written big size  so thanks to this, you can compare the different things about lesson. Last thing that I want to talk about the Menti,  İt require the internet and mobile phone so every students and schools cannot have an access for internets and also mobile phones.
